Editorial Standards

Research and review methodology

The standards we use to create useful, attributable, and commercially transparent business-software content.

Our purpose

Levent Research helps business buyers evaluate software and services in the context of real operational constraints. We prioritize switching decisions, workflow fit, implementation effort, customer support, pricing structure, and long-term ownership.

Research process

  1. Define the buyer and decision. We identify the type of business, current problem, alternatives under consideration, and facts required to make a decision.
  2. Collect primary evidence. We start with official product documentation, pricing pages, legal terms, release notes, support materials, and public statements from the vendor.
  3. Evaluate the product. Where access is available, a writer or researcher performs hands-on evaluation. Where it is not, the article states the evidence actually used.
  4. Use attributable experience. Customer, practitioner, or expert experience is presented as an attributed interview or source. We do not rewrite another person's experience as our own.
  5. Compare consistently. Products are evaluated against decision-relevant criteria rather than a vendor-supplied list of strengths.
  6. Editorial review. A human editor reviews material claims, sourcing, disclosure, clarity, and whether the conclusion follows from the evidence.

Hands-on and first-person claims

We do not invent first-person product stories. Language such as “we tested” or “our experience” is used only when the named writer or editorial team performed and documented that work. Otherwise, the article describes official documentation, observable product behavior, or clearly attributed interviews.

Pricing and product changes

Software changes frequently. We date material checks where practical and link to primary sources. Readers should confirm current pricing, features, eligibility, and contract terms with the vendor before purchasing.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate compensation may influence which commercially relevant products we can monetize, but it does not purchase a positive conclusion. Articles containing affiliate links receive a clear disclosure. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections

Readers and vendors may submit a factual correction with supporting primary documentation to support@levententerprises.com. We review material corrections and update content when the evidence supports a change. We do not promise to adopt marketing language or remove substantiated criticism.

What we do not promise

Our research is informational and is not legal, tax, medical, investment, cybersecurity, or individualized professional advice. A product that fits one organization may be unsuitable for another.
